By accessing and using CareLanka, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
CareLanka provides a platform connecting families with certified caregivers and home health aides in Sri Lanka. Our service includes caregiver profiles, booking management, secure payments, and communication tools.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. CareLanka reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove or edit content at our sole discretion.
While CareLanka conducts background checks and verifies caregiver credentials, families are responsible for their own due diligence. We recommend conducting interviews and reference checks before hiring any caregiver.
All payments are processed securely through our platform. Service fees, cancellation policies, and refund terms are outlined in your booking confirmation. CareLanka is not responsible for disputes between families and caregivers regarding payment amounts or quality of care.
Users agree not to use CareLanka for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the service. Harassment, discrimination, or abuse of any kind will result in immediate account termination.
Your use of CareLanka is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information.
CareLanka shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service. This includes damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangibles.
CareLanka reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
CareLanka may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
